Chinese Zodiac Playing Cards

I have always wondered why, even though playing cards originated in China, the standard Bicycle playing cards do not represent this origin.

Inspired by the story of the 12 zodiacs, where a race determined their order, I arranged the face cards according to this sequence and the traditional poker suit hierarchy (with spades as the highest and clubs as the lowest). For the suit symbols, I kept the recognizable design but turned them into Chinese lanterns. For the card's back, I incorporated Chinese fans and other recognizable patterns into the design.
