Mooncake Game
Purpose
Mooncake is a cultural conversations card game designed to help Asian Americans connect through shared experiences and understanding. There are 6 categories of questions (traditions, identity, food, community, reflections, and language).
Process
Inspired by the popular game “We’re Not Really Strangers,” I wanted to create a similar experience focused on cultural connection and identity. Based on a mooncake, the box’s inside is inspired by a traditional red bean and salted egg yolk filling.
